Our experience in service delivery is reflected through 40 years of maintaining the highest of standards for our clients. About the RoleThe role of the Occupational Therapist is to create, enhance and maintain purposeful activities at the facility through initial assessments, partaking in care planning and developing therapy programs for the residents of Guildford Village. The goal of the role is to enable the residents to achieve their maximum potential and to live as independently within the facility as possible. You will be led by a supportive management team and work closely with a team of like-minded individuals at the facility who share common goals. This role is being hired on a permanent part time basis. We are hoping for the successful candidate to work 4 x 6-hour shifts a week, and can provide some flexibility around the days and hours worked.  Key focuses for the role include:Assessing and evaluating Occupational Therapy needs and developing care plans that support the maintenance of our clients' independence.Contributing to the implementation, review and evaluation of Occupational Therapy care plans.Supporting the pain clinic at the facility through the delivery of 4A and 4B services to residents.Monitoring, analysing and evaluating services in order to measure progress and ensure the effectiveness of the intervention. Skills & Experience The ideal candidate will pride themselves on their ability to build and deliver person-centered care that values the choice of the client. They will have the people skills to build and maintain meaningful, lasting relationships with their clients.
