Our experience in service delivery is reflected through 39 years of providing quality services and maintaining the highest of standards for our clients.About the RoleThis role works with clients within the NDIS funding framework, assisting them to achieve their goals and maximize their independence and participation within the community. You will provide support to people with disability and / or psycho- social needs enabling them to undertake all aspects of daily living. You will also promote and role model positive behaviours, learning experiences and skills development for clients.This role is ideally being hired on a permanent part time basis, however we will consider hiring the role on a casual basis if this is your preference.Key focuses for the role include:Servicing clients at their respective homes with Activities of Daily Living such as Toileting, Showering, Dressing and Feeding.Light domestic duties and meal preparationMedication administration specific to client's need.Taking clients out for social outings and appointments such as GP's Appointment, ShoppingLiaising with client families as and when required.Skills & Experience:The ideal candidate will pride themselves on their ability to deliver person centered care that value the choice and goals of the client. They will have the people skills to build and maintain meaningful, lasting relationships with their clients. They will also demonstrate a commitment to being a productive and positive member of the broader Home and Community team.As well as the above skills, the Key Requirements include:NDIS Worker Screening Check or National Police Clearance (within the last 12 months)Proof of working rights - citizenship, passport, visaValid West Australian driver's license, and a reliable vehicleWorking With Children Check issued in Western AustraliaPrevious experience as a support worker in the health/disability sector or relevant Cert III qualificationSome Desired requirements include:Valid First Aid and CPR certificate (or willing to obtain)Mental Health First AidTrauma Informed CareNDIS Worker Orientation CertificateManual Handling qualification (or willing to obtain)Culture & BenefitsThis role represents the opportunity to work within a dynamic and committed team who consistently achieve for their clients.
