Our purpose is to maximise the health, enjoyment and quality of life of people seeking support in our community through the excellence of the services we provide. About the RoleThe primary responsibility for the scheduler role is to ensure that requests for temporary staffing solutions are filled efficiently and with the most effective use of staff resources possible, utilising the collective of professionals attached to Carers Plus. The role guarantees that all requests are responded to in a prompt and professional manner and participates in problem solving, proposing solutions to scheduling issues in consultation with the broader Carers Plus team. Key Responsibilities of this role:Scheduling temporary staff as per customer request and preferences.Recording of scheduled shifts in the scheduling system.Ensure scheduling of staff members is logistically sound and represents an efficient and effective use of staffing resources.Attending to day to day rescheduling requests to cover unplanned changes in staff availability, including sick leave, personal leave and emergency replacements.Regularly reviewing rosters to ensure that they are meeting key service indicators.Ensuring appropriate compatibility of staff with clients and service users with consideration given to skills and lifestyle preferences.This role works from 0800 - 1600 from Monday - Friday. The role is located at our central office in Kewdale. The role will be hired on a permanent, full time basis.   Skills & ExperiencesOur ideal candidate is a natural people person who approaches their work with a customer service focus at heart and who enjoys solving problems for their clients. You will have significant experience within a comparable sector/role and bring with you a broad understanding of the utilisation of staff within a healthcare sector.
