Our significant experience in service delivery is reflected through 39 years of providing quality services and maintaining the highest of standards for our clients. About the RoleThe role of the Senior Payroll Officer is focused around the management of our internal payroll system and of fortnightly payroll processing for our growing organisation of 700+ employees. The role is responsible for identifying areas and opportunities for process and operational improvement and presenting these as recommendations to the Chief Financial Officer. The role ensures that record keeping is maintained at a very high standard and ensures that statutory and compliance requirements are met within the organisation. The position will play a key role in implementing a new payroll system within the organisation. Key duties include the following:Implementing and maintaining payroll processes and software systems. Managing superannuation, reconciliations and all associated reporting. Supervising and mentoring a payroll assistant. Liaising with management and stakeholders across the business to discuss payroll related matters.This role is being hired on a permanent full time basis and is located at our central office in Kewdale.   Skills & Experience Our ideal candidate will be a flexible, resilient person by nature and a strong analytical thinker professionally. They will have a fine eye for details, be consistently inquisitive and have the demonstrated confidence and capabilities to be a leader and a decision maker. They will use these skills to challenge the status quo, solve problems effectively and communicate changes to key stakeholders. Our ideal candidate will be familiar with the pressures and constraints that exist within large, complex service delivery organisations and utilise their effective time management and communication skills to achieve results and keep all of their key stakeholders happy.  As well as the above skills, the Key Requirements include:Proficiency and aptitude with technology including MYOB and Microsoft applications.Significant payroll experience, ideally within a large and complex organisation. Experience with interpreting healthcare awards such as SCHADS, the Aged Care Award or the Nurses Award. Previous experience with the implementation of new payroll systems will be highly regarded but is not essential.  Culture & BenefitsThis role represents the opportunity to join a leading organisation within the strong Disability sector.
