Message from the Managing Director
Hi Everyone,
As you are aware Perth, Peel and South-West five-day lockdown will end at 6pm on 5th February pending no further local cases.
Following the above confirmation, our service operations will be following the below guidelines.
Clients and visitors to accommodation or office
The restrictions in aged care and disability accommodation settings remain in place until February 14 therefore:
- Visitors will be restricted entry to aged care facility, hostel and disability group homes unless they are an essential service provider or the visit is on compassionate grounds.
- All visitors must register using Safe WA QR Code at office reception or the visitor’s book provided in all locations.
Social, Home & Community, and Allied Health Services
- We will be commencing our Home and Community services as of February 6th , however, clients will have the choice to accept or decline their scheduled services.
- Therapy and Support Coordination services will be commencing from February 8th.
Carers Plus
- Carers Plus services will continue to operate as usual.
AICE
- Student placements are suspended until 14th February.
- Class room based training will be limited until 14th February
For Staff
- Staff members are required to wear masks at all times.
- All our offices will maintain adequate stock of masks, if an employee/clients require them.
- The management will continue to maintain Covid -19 health register for staff and clients for those who are reporting any symptoms of flu or Covid 19.
Office
- All offices will be open from 8th February
The above plans may change subject to State or Commonwealth government announcement. We will provide an update if this occurs.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our management team for their quick responses in implementing adequate measures since Sunday. We would not have been able to maintain our essential services during hard lockdown without the commitment of our front line workers. A big thank you to all of you. Also, I acknowledge our clients and their representative for their trust in us.
