Supported Independent
Living (SIL)
St Jude’s offers supported independent living with both shared and independent living options, providing participants with choice and flexibility.
Our shared accommodation typically hosts 1-5 residents, with support staff available 24/7 to assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication management, attending appointments, social activities, and developing independent living skills. Each home is tailored to the specific needs of the residents.
SIL provides an opportunity for residents to build meaningful social connections while enjoying their own private bedroom to relax in. It encourages participation in daily living activities, family visits, and fosters a sense of community among people with disability.

Drop-in
support
At St Jude’s, our drop-in support service provides flexible, on-demand assistance to encourage a greater degree of independence.
This service is perfect for participants who want the reassurance of support nearby, available when needed, without the need for constant supervision.
Drop-In Support is personalised and easily accessible across a variety of housing options, including both shared and independent living arrangements. It allows you to settle into your new home more quickly and with the support you need.

Independent Living
Options (ILO)
Our ILO model is designed to recognise your unique needs and preferences, offering a customised living solution tailored specifically to you.
This flexible housing option provides an independent living arrangement with personalised support that adapts to your individual requirements.
With ILO, you have the option to live alone or with someone of your choice, such as a partner, friend, family member, support worker, or host family.
