Supported Independent
Living (SIL)

St Jude’s offers supported independent living with both shared and independent living options, providing participants with choice and flexibility.

Our shared accommodation typically hosts 1-5 residents, with on-site support staff available 24/7 to provide assistance with personal care, meal preparation, medication management, attending appointments, social activities, and developing independent living skills. Each home is tailored to the unique needs of the residents.

SIL fosters a sense of community while allowing for privacy, with each resident having their own bedroom to relax in. This option also supports social connections, family visits, and active participation in daily living, ensuring residents can enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle in a comfortable, supportive environment.

Drop-In
Support

At St Jude’s, our unique drop-in support service provides flexible staff support to promote a greater degree of independence.

This option is ideal for participants who value having nearby support available when needed most, without the need for constant supervision.

The personalised service can be accessed across a range of housing options, including both shared and independent living arrangements. Drop-In Support can be accessed easily and promptly, allowing you to move into your new home sooner.

Individualised Living
Options (ILO)

Our ILO model recognises your unique needs and preference, creating a customised living solution tailored to you.

This housing option offers an alternative, more independent living arrangement with flexible support that focuses on your individual needs and preferences.

ILO provides you the option of living alone or with someone such as a partner, friend, family member, support worker or host family.
