Compassionate & Experienced Mental Health Care
St Jude’s has been providing a range of health care services to clients across Perth and the South West for over 40 years. We understand that there is still a societal stigma around seeking mental health support, and so our team is very compassionate with clients – we will always ensure you feel comfortable and welcome. St Jude’s believe that those dealing with mental health problems deserve all the support and help they need to ensure they can live a happy and fulfilled life.
Our Mental Health Support Services
Like any other chronic condition, a mental health illness may affect your ability to manage aspects of everyday life, such as finding a place to live and maintaining it. St Jude’s can provide a range of services to help you complete these tasks and reach your personal goals. We acknowledge that everyone’s needs are different, and so our expert team will devise a specific combination of services to suit your requirements and aspirations. Whether you require assistance cleaning your house and preparing meals, or you need one of our expert health professionals to talk you through what you are dealing with – we have the best mental health support services in Perth for you.
St Jude’s has also gained a reputation among clients and health professionals as being a leading provider of residential care for members of our community who have a diagnosed psychiatric illness. Our residential care will ensure someone living with a psychiatric illness has a safe and supportive place to live, with essential services available and rehabilitation provided.
Support Services for the Homeless
One of the main issues that stem from mental health illnesses is homelessness, as if you are suffering from a serious mental health illness the associated barriers can create a higher risk of you becoming homeless. The services at St Jude’s aim to combat this problem by removing some of the barriers created from dealing with a mental health illness, and therefore improving your wellbeing and lowering the risk of homelessness. If you are more able to look after yourself and achieve daily tasks, then you will live a more balanced, stable life and will not become at risk.
If you have a mental health illness and are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, we also have residential services available to help you with short and long-term accommodation. We can provide accommodation support to anyone above 18 years old. You are not required to have NDIS or other funding support to access our mental health supported accommodation.
