You will work with people within the NDIS framework and support clients to reach for outcomes and pursue their dreams. No one day will be the same. The role takes responsibility for managing a caseload, including correspondences with families and representatives. The role is responsible for providing advice and education regarding lifestyle changes and adaptations to the physical and social environment for the client. There is also a focus on working with other members of the broader allied health team to ensure consistency of support planning.   The key duties for our Occupational Therapists include:Applying a specialist level of understanding of the effects and impact of all aspects of a disability on a client’s occupations and roles.Implement and monitor individual plans to enable clients to perform the occupations that foster health and well-being in their everyday life.Working with families and stakeholders to share goals and provide practical advice.Maintaining accurate, timely and appropriate records of progress notes, reports and other relevant documentation.We're happy considering Occupational Therapists all over Perth but we are particularly hoping to speak to candidates who are happy to be based out of Belmont. We will ideally hire these roles on a permanent, full time basis, although we are in a position to consider part time or flexible working arrangements.
